History: Known as Mathaira, my full name is Eubha-Mathairachean, an ancient Celtic name meaning "source of life". Since my name is of ancient Celtic origin, I believe that my ancestors may have arrived on the Island long ago. A native Dinotopian, I was born on the Island in the Romano Hatchery side by side with saurian hatchlings. My earliest memories as a young child are of helping out in the hatchery: watching over the eggs, using puppets to help the hatchlings imprint the correct parent model, and helping to tend the hatchlings.

I have two saurian partners and we work together as a team: Thistlebud is an Ovinutrix and Maia is a Maiasaura. Previously based at the Romano Hatchery, we recently relocated to the Bonabba Hatchery. We travel all over the Island, helping to care for unhatched eggs and hatchlings. We assist in escorting expectant dinosaur parents to a hatchery and also in escorting parents and their hatchlings from a hatchery back to their homes.

Contrary to Dinotopian tradition, we have twice been summoned to the Rainy Basin, and provided our services to the Tyrannosaur species, specifically to the Clan of Greyback the Fierce. His son and heir, ShadowStriker, now a warrior, has become a close friend whom we often travel with.
