Dolphinback who crashed on the island on November 10, 1862 with his son, Will. They landed near the Romano Hatchery, a short way from Pooktook.
He spent his first two years on the island getting acquainted with its inhabitants and geography. He traveled much of the time, but finally returned to Waterfall City as his permanent home. There he teaches science classes and works on inventions in his lab in the Great Library.
Some of his contributions to Dinotopia have been the sewing machine, sunstones, the
trapeze, and submersibles.
