Comment: Herak, the Allosaur, had been in reign for over three decades
in the Allosaurian Empire. Darkness manifested itself in this Allosaur
who was so malevolently evil that he would almost destroy Dinotopia
in his search for power and food. The name of Herak Ba'taar would
resonate through the rivers of Dinotopian history; a deep current of darkness and despair.
Herak's rise to power was a long one. The Basin was ruled by Raptors,
Allosaurs, and Tyrannosaurs, all depending on other creatures for
food. Herak was eager to take on power, but no one except for the
Allosaurs could see that, which worked in his favor.
Soon, the balance was disrupted. Although there was war going on
in the Basin, countless and endless battles were fought; Herak Ba'taar always landing on top.
His Allosaurian Empire was now in supreme power. Tyrannosaurs no
longer hunted in packs, but solitary, since the Allosaurs had taken
over the food supplies. The lone Tyrannosaurs were picked off and killed.
Things started getting way out of hand. C'xoila, a Deinonychus of
the Cx'sann clan, peacefully lived near the Polongo. Innocent as
he was, and eating peacefully near the river, the Allosaurian Empire
marched through and took over the river. However, the Empire lost
much of its infantry. C'xoila was saved from being killed by the Allosaurs.
A new threat occured. An assistant named Saar came into power with
Herak. Although quite strong, she was very clumsy and unwise. But
after the Cx'sann incident, they needed all the help they got.
A powerful asset to them came along. A boy named Michael came into
powerful, but was duped into thinking that they were guardians of
Dinotopia because he was a Dolphinback. He had learned much hate
and Dark Powers. He found out they were evil when they planned the
first attempt to attack Waterfall City. Fortunately, he had shut
the Security Gate in the Vertabra Tunnel and had taken his master's
powers when Herak was about to kill him. Herak was weakened in the
following fight, badly bruised by thunderstrikes and fireballs.
With that, Michael left, leaving the Allosaurs weakened.
The Allosaurs made another effort to break in, starting the Waterfall
City RP. He had made Azonthus, a Velociraptor, seem as if she worked
for him. C'xoila had misunderstood the situation and attcked Azonthus.
Herak laughed, but C'xoila took on the offensive and hurt Herak.
Herak had left Waterfall City. C'xoila fought again when he found
him and knocked him down a waterfall. Thinking that Heral was dead, Saar left Waterfall City.
Azonthus, angered by the incident had run away from civilization
and hid into the Basin. Herak had returned to Saar, the foolish
Allosaur. Herak had attacked and warned her for her not to take power again.
Azonthus had just about met her deadly fate when she was saved by
Liquidfire, a former raptor healer.
Michael on the other hand, found Herak for another time. A vicious
battle occured, and Michael had sliced Herak's wrist.
1 month later, the Allosaurian Empire was a shambles.
Michael later signed a treaty with Herak, since their Enpire had
ended. This treaty concluded that Herak or his forces would never
attack Dinotopians or Azonthus until Azonthus was found.
This treaty was called the Utopian Treaty.
Herak never again attacked Dinotopians, but was adrift in darkness and evil.
